How much does golf club regripping cost in Phoenix?

Standard regripping is $20 per club or $230 for a full 13-club set. Premium grips are $25 per club or $295 per set. Already have grips? Install-only is $10 per club or $120 per set. A 4-club minimum applies to single-club orders.

How long does a mobile regripping appointment take?

Most regripping appointments take 45–60 minutes, done at your home, office, or golf course anywhere in the Phoenix metro area.

Do I need to provide anything?

We bring the tools, supplies, and grips for the appointment. Just point us to the clubs and a safe spot for us to get started.

Where do you actually do the work?

Usually a driveway, garage, office space, indoors, or any other suitable spot at your location, anywhere in Phoenix, Scottsdale and nearby areas.

Can you help me pick a grip?

Absolutely. We'll narrow it down by size, texture, firmness, moisture management, and whatever feel you prefer.

Do you have a club minimum?

Yes. Four clubs minimum per visit. Bring your friend's clubs and combine them to meet the minimum or for a full set!

Cancellation & safety policy

Cancellation policy

A deposit is required to confirm every appointment and is applied toward your total service cost.

Need to cancel or reschedule? Contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment, and we'll fully refund your deposit or apply it to your new date.

Cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows within 24 hours of your appointment will forfeit the deposit.

If we need to cancel: on rare occasions like extreme weather, safety, or a vehicle/equipment issue, we may need to reschedule your appointment. In these cases, your deposit is fully refunded or applied to your new appointment at no cost to you.

Safety policy

Hickory & Steel Golf Co. is a mobile service, and we come to you, which means your workspace, weather conditions, and property play a direct role in how safely and effectively we can complete your service.

Workspace requirements

We need a reasonably safe and accessible area to work, ideally a flat, dry, shaded surface such as a garage or covered driveway with enough clearance for our clamp and workstation. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule service if, upon arrival, the workspace is deemed unsafe or unsuitable, including but not limited to:

  • Unsecured or aggressive pets
  • Extreme heat exposure with no shade or shelter
  • Unstable, uneven, or wet surfaces
  • Poor lighting
  • Blocked or hazardous access to the work area

If this happens, we'll first try to work with you to find a safer spot on your property. If no safe workspace is available, we'll reschedule for a time when conditions are better, or issue a full refund of your deposit. This is not treated as a customer cancellation or no-show.

Pets and children

We love animals and kids, but our tools involve open flame and grip solvent, which require a clear, focused workspace. Please keep pets and children at a safe distance from the immediate work area while we're on-site.

Weather

Phoenix summers and monsoon season can occasionally make it unsafe for us to work outdoors. If conditions on the day of your appointment cross that line, we'll reach out to discuss safe workspace options or reschedule at no cost to you.

Our equipment

Regripping involves a heat gun, grip solvent, and vise clamps. These require adequate ventilation and a stable surface to use safely. If your intended workspace is fully enclosed with no airflow (such as a small closed garage in summer), let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Your clubs

We handle your clubs with care throughout the service. If you have any concerns about a specific club (custom shaft, collector's item, etc.), please flag it in your appointment notes so we can take extra precautions.
